Pocketful of Sunshine
The trailer work wasn't as thought as expected, after all, Winner is more than used of moving. The staff had brought Memphis Belle's blanket for the new boy, and a red rope hackamore Edward tied just for Winner! The gelding was calm, head hanging low, unaware of his destination.
A jumper, they said, Pocketful of Sunshine would need retraining for the time wasted on his younger days and recovery phase. His condition wouldn't yet allow him to train at the same level as the other horses, there was still a lot to be done for his physical condition. The vet was a regular visitor to the stables either way, but with Winner around, the visits were to be more frequent.
But first things first! Winner was accommodated to the his new stall, next to the sweet gelding-Bird! He'll need to loose his fear of other horses, learn the food he get on his stall is his only, and the pastures are big enough for all of them to share.
The staff is proud to say they are to successfully rescue their 4th horse!
